In the config file, it states the path to the firmware. It has to
match the actual location of the file. Copy the firmware to the
location in the file (case sensitive) and try it again Jordan.

conf file then comment out the sections for the other
devices/scanners, but yours. Oh, install these:<br></p><br>sudo apt-get install sane sane-utils libsane xsane libusb
<br><br>just to get the usual stuff. Then, run
"sane-find-scanner" and report what you find. Finally, when you
have all that installed, run "lsusb" and see if your scanner is
listed. Please post results.
